Vaccination Requirements

These are the vaccination requirements for the US visa. In 2009 new rules came into being. This rule is with regards to vaccinations. The US Immigration services requires that the person entering the US has been vaccinated against the following.

Vaccination Requirements

Firstly all applicants for an immigrant visa are required to have a medical examination conducted by a designated panel physician. During the medical examination, the panel physician will determine whether the applicant has met the required vaccination standards.

Firstly ensure that you have your vaccination certificates on hand, Secondly if you are looking at applying for a K1 Visa, K3 Visa or any other type of visa for the United States. Thirdly the required vaccinations vary based on the applicant’s age, medical history, and other factors. However, in general, the following vaccinations are required:

Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Influenza
Influenza type b (Hib)
Measles
Meningococcal
Mumps
Pneumococcal
Pertussis
Polio
Rotavirus
Rubella
Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids
Varicella

Firstly if you do not have all then speak to an immigration lawyer or to anyone at the US Embassy as to what it is that they will require.
