If you have lost your passport then you must report this to the police and obtain the case number. That will be needed by the Embassy when you apply for a new US passport. The immigration system in Sweden may also require this to transfer a visa from the lost passport to the new passport.
If you are getting married then you will need a letter of no impediment from the Embassy to show that you are single. If you are divorce or your spouse passed away. Then the original death certificate or divorce decree will be needed. The process takes a few days. Once done this will need to be verified (by the Swedish government), translated and then certified. You can then use these documents to register you marriage. Once married see the CR1 visa as well as the K3 visa process on here. There is also a US Visa Medical Examination as well as K4 visa requirements for any minor child.
